Cam is the man. This is fantastic. Close with his family, helping the less fortunate. It's clear his charity efforts come from a true place.

Compare him to Aaron Rodgers, who is a straight up selfish asshole to his family and close friends, and any charitable overtures are an obvious act. Rodgers posted a tweet about raising money for the California wildfire victims, and his brother chastised him for not even calling his mom who was in the path of the fires. A few years ago, his parents sent him wrapped Christmas presents, and Aaron Rodgers SENT THEM BACK. His feud with his family is hilarious and sad.

That’s great. I can’t hate on the donation.

But my point is, Cam’s charity event got local media coverage and some low key afterthought national coverage. Meanwhile Aaron Rodgers gets an article  in USA Today and major publications about his feud with his family. All I see is people slobbing Rodgers knob all the time even though he’s an asshole, meanwhile Cam has endured so much adversity despite being nothing but a class act.

Long story short, Cam is the man and Aaron Rodgers is a fake asshole.

Cam Newton named Week 11 NFLPA Community MVP after serving a Thanksgiving meal to more than 1,200 underprivileged kids and their family members at his seventh annual “Cam’s Thanksgiving Jam.” He also provided a full second Thanksgiving meal for the attendees to prepare at home.
