I agree, Funchess was the wrong receiver in the play. Wright or Moore catch that ball absolutely, Samuel probably also.

I disagreed with Ace about the play design with Greg running to the same side, in the video it shows 2 defenders come up to him, leaving Funchess one on one—

A good play will get a receiver one on one or open completely— in this case Funchess should catch that 10 times out of 10.

But seriously, RR game mgt is awful. I know Norv calls the plays, but we have seen RR say on the sideline what he wants to do, he could have said let’s get Funch going etc. we have two young studs at wr and one barely plays. I have been patient with RR but this crap is getting old.

The excessive cramping “Funch” seems to endure probably caused those drops.

Funchess is making our decision to possibly re-sign him very easy. But make no mistake, some team will give him a huge deal this offseason.

Whats more aggravating than this play is Rivera setting Cam up for failure, like he always does, and almost all the talking heads only talk about the overthrow on the 2 point attempt and not the other bigger reasons for the loss like they do for other white QBs.
