We have a decent team, so just consider for a moment what could happen if the Saints are bitten by the injury bug. We can beat an injury riddled Saints team. What if other top teams lose key players? You always want to claw your way into the playoffs because anything can happen.

The trick is to consistently make the playoffs. If you keep making the playoffs...at some point you're gonna bring home the trophy.

I will say it does make sense to tank if let's say if the team starts at 2-6 or something like that. But not when you're 6-4.

The Pat's, Steelers, Taints, Seahawks fans all don't settle for mediocre. They've had a taste of success and they won't settle for something less. I live in the PNW and Carrols name is on the hotseat out here because he's made excuses for Wilson when there's no reason to. Carolina has been family friendly too long.

The attitude is different in Carolina. Maybe its because I live in enemy territory but I can feel the difference when they talk about their team and when I hear fans in Carolina talk about theirs. We don't have the killer instinct the perennial winners have, and that starts at the top. Tepper has that attitude far more than Richardson ever did. Hurney 2.0 is still up in the air. Rivera has shown he doesn't have it. 

I don't believe in tanking, but if we lost out and Ron was sent packing I wouldn't consider it a losing season. Teams pray for the chance to get a QB like Cam and RR has squandered his abilities by living in the 80s instead of coming into the most pass happy NFL in history.
