Rams vs Cheifs Monday Night Thread

I dont think its a coincidence that all the Rams players play with so much passion and urgency all the time. I think teams are a reflection of their coaches and the fact that we've oftentimes appeared lethargic and plagued with errors for several years some of that has to be related to Rivera.

You'd have to watch them play, they have their own play makers. To suggest that Cam and Co are better than Geoff/Mahomes and Co is hubris

Wasnt suggesting that we had better playmakers, was more so thinking we have enough playmakers to run the same caliber high powered offense.

At this point it is pretty clear that the Ron's slow ball approach is out of step with today's game and is killing the team's offensive potential.  I have little doubt that either of tonight's coaching staffs (or Saints) could take our players and make them much more productive.

This game, while very entertaining, didn't exactly do wonders for my outlook on how we're going to finish the season.

Gee you don’t say.

Some teams don’t care if they employ convicted felons that strangle and beat their pregnant girlfriends in the stomach, as long as they go for 215 receiving and 2 TDs.

Other teams are scared of their own shadow and won’t even hire All-Pros at positions of desperate need because they seem like a meanie and the other 31 don’t want them too.

Ram's hurry up offense is a thing of beauty. There were quite a few times that they'd line up and snap the damn ball before the Chief's defense could begin get ready. Even when Carolina runs the no huddle it looks slow compared to that but that's the way Ron want's it, though. Gotta let that play clock run down so low that the defense knows exactly when the snap is coming.

Yep, I'm just tired of the media trying to annoint him. They ignored the fact that Goff was playing the better, more efficient game tonight. Mahomes put up huge numbers, but he also accounted for 5 turnovers. A big part of the Rams' win was Goff taking care of the football.

Bull. Mahomes outplayed him handily, Goff missed a ton of throws.

Yes, if we cherry pick every decent team's schedule then they all look like world beaters.

Take out their performances against the Falcons, the Redskins, the Lions and the Steelers (especially the Steelers) and our defense is doing enough to help us win every game

I feel much better now.

That's not at all what I'm doing. The Rams haven't stopped a single decent offense all year. The Arizona-Oakland games were against, literally, the worst 2 offenses in football.

They're ranked 23 and 21 in PPG and YPG. That defense is absolutely terrible. I haven't watched them once or twice. I've watched them all year. They have a GREAT interior. No edge rushers. No LBs. CBs are terrible, and they have one good safety.

Rams get a lot of love because they're LA. Saints not only have a better offense, they have a much, much better defense.
