Where Ron might have his hand in it is the long held belief by Panther management that Cam needs a tall possession receiver to go for his overthrows and to give him a bailout on the sidelines.  Cam has dispelled that myth with his increased accuracy.  Maybe Norv did not want to upset that philosophy and/or chose to pick his battles.  Especially since Samuels spent games off/on injury list.  Funchess's funk will probably do more to get 10 & 12 together than anything else.  That plus the key Wright completion with Funchess on the sideline should be a clue.

I’ve mentioned this before, its fugging HILARIOUS how some of you guys believe Ron Rivera just floats invisibly around the periphery of HIS TEAM with no input, accountability, or responsibility.

To some of you he is this AMAZING head coach but, when it comes to any or all team actions worthy of criticism well, GOSH, ol’ Ron seems to have absolutely nothing to do with them!

Personnel situation as in active/inactive yes.  Personnel decisions in terms of play structure yes.  Personnel decision for specific plays in the middle of a game?

I made the mistake of calling for Ron's head before in mid-season, I won't do it again.  At the end of the season?  hell yeah, legit question.

In the meantime we have a 6-3 team in a waf conference with every opportunity to get hot and battle our nemesis at the end of the season so to me, it is HILARIOUS that you guys get all worked up over the head coach over a road loss coming from on the field play execution.  Cam makes that throw, you do what?  Call for Ron's head?  I wish there could be that consistency in this fan base.

I don’t believe anything Ron says. He has no respect for the fans trying to pass of this BS for so long. 

Moose suggested on the radio today that if Samuel played more, teams would game plan for him more and thus making him less effective. While I see what he is saying, it’s definitely worth the risk. It’s just so easy to plan for other guys who fall after the catch like uhm, 17.
