Pretty far gone by now. After years of the same ole' shat wears you down to a nub. The smoke and mirrors of going on a winning streak at end of season won't work this time.

If they win 3 of the remaining games I will be suprised.  Just reality that the product on the field and mis-managment on game day is depressing. My rose colored glasses are broken.

Crushing Seattle thats it

1.  We are on a Huge downhill slide on the verge on spiraling out of control.  Having the biggest beatdown in franchise history, to a mini bye week to recoup. Then get a chance to redeem ourselves vs one of the bittom 5 teams in the NFL who has packed it up for the season and prepping for the draft.  And lay a Egg against them

2. We have only played 1 complete game this Whole entire season.  We are 2-3 plays from being a 4-6 team.  We had to kick the 2nd longest FG in NFL History to beat one of the bittom 3 teams in the NFL, on our home turf.  We let anther bottom barrel team come back on ua and had a dog fight, didnt showup until the 4th quarter of 1 game and had to mount a historic comeback 17 pint in the last 5 min to win. I dont give 2 $h!ts about "just making the playoffs".  Our window is closing fast with our old core players, and know that right now that this team even if they got in.  Would get their teeth kicked in wildcard round, just isnt fun.  Especially while our division rival is running away as best team in the entire league while we shoot ourselves in the foot and slide to the bottom

Heck kicking Seattles butt wouldnt even just do it at this point.  Winning the next 3 by 3 scores would about do it.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
