About that Moore play...

It's almost as if people can't understand that the only reason Moore got caught was that he got tired and ran out of gas. And even then, a guy who ran a 4.36 40 was just barely able to run him down.

I believe that has a lot to do with it ......  looking at that screen is not helping, not helping at all !!

I quit watching after that drive. I refuse to watch and support that poo. It feels like players are purposely tanking

Moore tweaked his ankle on the play.  Said it when he started to get chased down.

He went straight to the bench and got taped.

That said, nothing wrong with losing a footrace to Slay.

Torrey Smith has been a better wide receiver than Funchess.

I noticed a LB somewhat keeping stride for stride and Darius Slay hawked him down from 15 yards behind. Maybe Moore was gassed or not 100% but he def didn’t look full speed

we as a franchise was spoiled with steve smith, steve smith would have been running stride for stride with moore looking to put a hat on any defender within 2 yards of making a tackle. olsen i can understand but we need more little effort plays from our younger guys, damn shame his monster game when to waste

Look at Olsen and Funch. As soon as Moore catches the ball and darts to the endzone they both sort of stand around and jog upfield while ALL the Lions defenders jet upfield to catch up to Moore. Even some of our oline men end up getting more ground than Funchess. Darius Slay ended up making the tackle and if Funch blocked him for even a second Moore would've took it the house and Gano doesn't miss that FG. Look at the rest of the offense on that play too. Olsen doesn't bother to block out, Wright tries to set up a block for second and then gets out of the way.  The lack of urgency from this team is concerning both on offense and defense. Between plays like this and all the arm tackles we're not making the most of our talent. I cant help but to chalk this up to a coaching issue. Most of this team acts like they could care less if they win or not and it all starts with the HC. What kind of coach gives their players off the whole weekend after losing big to Pittsburgh? I saw some poster bouncing around the excuse of missing a day due to rain but we had more prep time than Detroit. This should have been a big win for us. If we want to make a deep run this lazy poo has to end going forward. 

This stuff is what drives me the most crazy with players. Dropped passes hurt like hell, but not willing to hustle and make a tough play off the ball kills me. That's what really drew the line in the sand for KB with me when he didn't even try to tackle an opponent who just got an interception. I'm done with Funch starting after this game. Get someone in there who cares.

It was more of an indictment on Funchess than an appraisal on Torrey.
