Is there any reason Samuel is only playing like 25% of the snaps???

Going to play devil's advocate here... Steve Smith has said it's not unsurprising he's not playing as much because he's still learning the position. He didn't purely play wide receiver at college and he's still learning the position. This is basically his rookie year and he's making a huge impact, and I agree he needs to be on the field more - especially when Funchess isn't playing well - but he is still learning.

The way I see it is that curtis samuels and DJ moore is that brand new shiny car and ron riveria doesn't want to drive them too much and is more content to just put a cover on them and leave them in the garage while he uses an old as beat up car as his main car... poo is frustrating as hell.
