Would much rather have Torrey out there if that means benching Funch. 

I love Funch but he can only ride his rookie year success for so long

It really is a bummer that we ended up drafting two bafflingly soft wide receivers in Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess so closely together. What a waste.

Yeah Funchess only looked good because Benjamin was so bad.  Now we all know he's a skinnier version of the same player.

Honestly, I don't understand the need for a "big" receiver in our offense now.

In the past, I get it.  We wanted a guy who could also block on the perimeter because we liked to run power so often.  Now, our offense is a match up offense.  We run a lot of isolation, counter action, misdirection, etc.  We don't need a big body blocking down.

Put Samuel, Moore and Wright out there.  You've got Olsen.  You've got CMC.  Ian Thomas hasn't been awful in the receiving game for a rookie.  We don't need Funchess out there unless he's producing in the pass game.

I'd elevate Wright before Smith.

I feel like Cam likes Funchess. Which is fine, except that Funchess sucks and couldn't catch a cold in a pediatrician's waiting room.

Maybe so but he is the best WR in this class.  He isn't good but it's a great time for him to be in the open market.
