The trend nowadays is more towards offensive minded coaches.  The Panthers have never had one (unless you count Seifert, lol) but now should be the time to start.

Pretty sure Foxy ended up in a Super Bowl. The resounding answer is yes, Rivera will quickly get scooped up and probably by the Jets. That's if they don't get John Harbaugh or if we don't get John Harbaugh. I kinda want John Harbaugh.

Either a current coordinator or someone like Todd Haley. 

I'd absolutely be ecstatic if they hired someone like Bruce Arians though.

The John Fox parallel is strong here...yes he'd get a job, and quickly.  Especially this year with a lack of quality candidates and retread candidates galore is HC's like McCarthy and Harbaugh are fired

I could coach a team ran by Manning to the Super Bowl lol.

Anyway, Ron will get a team, not because he's a great coach, but because he's not a bad one.    Basically, Ron would be good for a rebuilding team to get some stability, just like Fox was able to do, but past that, he's not a coach to take anyone over the hump and yeah without the Cam crutch I doubt he'll have much success.      He can't even field a good defense this year but I have no doubt Ron is an above average DC though.    He would find a job as a DC even quicker, even though his thought process on the NFL is super dated.
