Ron Rivera is a mediocre coach that has had his career saved countless times by the very players he consistently blames for failures while giving himself and his staff a pass.

I would definitely be OK with firing Rivera and Washington and letting Norv take over, and let anyone call the defensive plays, who cares they can't do worse.
