I counted atleast 4 times today where Reid came sprinting in to tee a guy up for a big hit and he completely whiffed and didn't touch the guy. He sucks. But we're not paying him much and he's still way better than Jones so whatever. He's definitely not this defenses biggest problem.

Considering I was critical of Cam, Gano, Luke, and others today, I’m curious how you feel your point is validated?  I don’t give a damn if he kneels.  I just want him to make a play on the ball.

And Luke's mediocrity this year is even worse because he plays a more important position in the Rivera defense.  Safeties are an after-thought to Rivera.

He always seems to be going for the big hit with shoulders only, he doesn’t wrap with his arms at all...piss poor tackling.

if reid even makes your top 90 takeaways from today's game there's something wrong with you. he played fine, made some thumping hits (took 2 dudes out of the game with good clean tackles), whiffed once, and didn't get beat in coverage. he played as well as we could ask him.

Anyways...Reid plays a position where he is supposed to flock to the ball.  When he’s 1 on 1 against a TE or in run support, he’s fine.  But when he’s playing center field, he has yet to make a single play on a ball thrown to a WR down field.  Replays always show him hanging out in the middle of the field with no one around him. 

You're right, I apologize. I was taking out my frustrations about the game on you. No excuse. I still don't agree with you or anyone who thinks Eric Reid is part of the problem, but I'll save my insults for the coaching staff.

his two picks?  Both bad overthrows with a receiver no where around...to the middle of the field where Reid is always standing, stuck in concrete.  It’s no coincidence that our defense got even worse when Reid stepped in, and has not progressed since.  I understand that Colin Jones isn’t that good...but he’s not this bad.
