Ron just staked his career (and potentially the season) on that playcall

Gano was terrible today + analytics say go for 2.

Cam just missed a throw. Plus, offensive lineman forced Cam to try it high as well.

Lol the fug Wright was open long before any lineman had an affect on Cam that throw was purely on Cam, Cam read the play late but even still he had time. Oline held well that play

was a great call IMO can’t force cam to make that throw

gano took his own nuts off I wouldn’t trust him either.

What would you be saying if that play was executed perfectly and the conversion was made?

I’d be saying that we just put the Lions into 4 down territory with over a minute to play. With our horrendous defense, that’s the last thing we need. Had there have been 20 or fewer seconds left in the game, going for 2 is the perfect decision. Doing it while Detroit still has time and multiple timeouts is ridiculous

trust me, I’m under the belief teams generally shouldn’t punt with under 4 yards to go, and should regularly go for 2, but there are instances in which it’s a terrible decision. Whether we converted or not, this was one of them.

I have no problem with going for two there. We didn’t deserve to win that game at all and is there any doubt Stafford would have marched down with three timeouts and kicked a game winning field goal regardless of the outcome of the two point conversion.

then why put yourself in that position if the two points are meaningless?

We aren't winning the division now unless New Orleans poops the bed from here on out.

Reality check.....Saints are the real deal....we are the redheaded stepchild getting bitch slapped as the season winds down.

A successful 2 point conversion would have made it MORE likely that they got the field goal than a successful XP because they would have had more urgency and would have played all 4 downs. So dumb. Too much time on the clock and all 3 time outs. Terrible.

Bullshit....based off what??

based off Gano missing a 34 yard FG and an XP in the dome, meaning that last drive should have been 20-17 Lions or at worst 20-14 Lions and making the 2pt conversion unnecessary. receiver was wide open in the end zone but Cam put it too high for him to make a play on it.

correct

situatuonal understanding has always been a problem with rivera and today is one of the most egregious foul-ups in recent memory.

IMO it should cost him what it costs this game and our attempt at a playoff run.

This was the easiest game remaining on our schedule and he chose the least logical time to pull his balls out.

Good Riddance to him.

And also LOL @ the people who didn't know this could and does always happen. They act like the Panthers can put on some black unis and show up and beat "bad" teams without realizing that we are merely an AVG team with RR at the helm that gets rescued by Cam or Luke on the regular and his only function on the team is to hold them back.

LOL at Cleveland you putzes they have an even better D than Detroit does(because Detroit doesn't actually have a great D...)
