if we make the play the result is still the same: a field goal wins it. allowing your offense a shot in OT is a safer bet than your defense keeping them from the ~40.

I have no problem with going for two there. We didn’t deserve to win that game at all and is there any doubt Stafford would have marched down with three timeouts and kicked a game winning field goal regardless of the outcome of the two point conversion.
