Why do you still support Ron?

Recommended Posts

I've been a Rivera supporter because I think one of the most valuable parts of a football team is to have a tough and stingy defense. But we don't right now, whether it be because of the rule changes, coach Washington, the players,  or Ron. If our defense isn't elite there's no reason to keep him around.

Question for the Ron defenders, you know who you are.

Why do you still think Ron is gonna bring home a super bowl?

Are you talking why do they support Ron now?   Or why would they support Ron being head coach next year.  Because they really are two different questions.  Firing Ron now is just silly fan talk.  I mean really, even the Giants are talking playoffs right now.

Firing Ron at the end of the season makes infinitely more sense.  But there are arguments for and against.  But until he is fired I will support him 100%.

Let's not forget about not challenging the catch on the sideline where the Lions player was out?

Just another thing he still hasn't grasped in the league.

But challenges a 2nd and inches call and feels like he has beat the world. I thought that was just so stupid. Did better to have left it 2nd and inches cause we ended up punting anyways.

I have never liked ron after his 3rd year as HC.. many on here wanted him gone but then he broke out his riverboat ron persona and it saved him for a time.. but that time is long past and it better not save him again.. so tired of this guy.

I was one of the last hold outs on Fox. I tried....but I don't have in me to defend a coach doing the exact foooocking things!!!!!

If you reached a point where you couldn't handle John Fox as the head coach anymore, well then you should have reached the point where you can not handle John Fox 2.0 being the coach anymore.  History has a tendency to repeat itself.   "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."  George Santayana
