More missed tackles.

Ron Rivera allows complacency. Promotes an assistant that is in over his head, this unaccountable mentality trickles down to an unmotivated and ill-prepared defense. This team is going to lose to a team that is trying to tank. I can’t see how they can keep anyone on the defensive coaching staff after the Panthers falter down the stretch because of a historically awful defense

It's what happens when you hire the assistant of the assistant of a DC. Players are constantly out of position trying to do too much, which results in more missed tackles. This Eric Washington experiment needs to end sooner than later. He is not cut out for the job.

So, what is the deal with so many missed tackles lately? Hard to blame a coordinator for that. Players practice tackling every single day.

Seems like everyone out there is struggling.

True

But as they do that in practice everyday.  Why is it not being fixed in practice? Thats on the coaches

Why is it not being hammered during the fiom sessions? Thats on the coaches

I refuse to think the guys, who have been on this D and looked Elite in the past just completely forgot how to play.  Like the Monstars took away their ability as they did in spacejam

The coaches arent doing their job.  These same guys didnt forget how to tackle or rush the passer under Withers and Mcdermott, hiw all of a sudden soon as a new coach comes in they look liie completely different players
