Being honest. What are your Best Case, and Worst Case?

I think we go 11- 5 or 12 - 4 and get into the playoffs. Probably lose in the divisional or championship round because of our pass rush .

We'll have to spend the offseason trying to somehow revamp the dline even though we'll have extremely low draft picks and wont be able to select any of the premium pass rushers.

Good thing is I don't believe Olsen or TD will  retire after missing too much time this season. Ryan Kalil said he'd retire but I really hope he might come back for 2019 after we've tried to bolster the Dline bit more and we have  a more complete and experienced team.

We are literally one great pass rusher away from being a SB contender. NO fuging idea how to get one though.

Best Case we win out expect for final game against the Saints in N.O. Finish 12-4  We win the division because tie breaker Atl > TB (NO loses along the way 2 more time)

Worst Case - Teams have figured out a way to beat us and we win only 2 more games finish 8-8 and keep our streak going.

To win the Division, we would basically have to win out. Unless the aints decide to help us by losing a couple of games between now and when we play them.

Also, I don't put a lot of stock in the phrase, "Teams have figured us out". Pitt just put one on us. Other than that, we had been playing pretty good football.

All I know for sure, we need to keep improving if we want to contend for a SB.

Honestly, best case has to be Super Bowl and worst case has to be losing record and not making the playoffs.  That being said, I think we are closer to Superbowl than not making playoffs, it all depends on how we are seeded.  If we somehow win the South and have games at home we have a much better chance. If we are a wildcard we should be able to beat the 3rd or 4th team on the road, but playing the 1st or 2nd team on the road will be tough.

We have 4 weeks to figure things out. If we can, we can complete. If we don't, we are going to struggle.

I think we are probably the 3-4 best team in the NFC. Getting by the Rams, or aints is going to be tough. But we have time to right the ship.

Best Case :    SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS 2018 - 2019

Worst Case:   There's not one..  I just enjoy Panther Football. A Fan .  Even in the 1 -  15 season, I'd  get up on Sunday Mornings and think there was a possibility of a victory ..  ( gawd George Seifert almost broke me   )

    There ya go.

10-6, defense has fallen flat in it's face.

Side note, we haven't had a pass rush vs the saints since we had Hardy.  Brees get the ball out fast and even when he holds it for a while, his line gives him all the time in the world to pick us apart. Anybody thinking we beat the saints even once this year is delusional.

You are supposed to learn from the past, not fear it. Too much time between now, and when we play the aints to speak in absolutes.

Let go of that fear. It won't hurt. I promise.

The million dollar question. Come on Hurdog, do that voodoo, that you do, so well.

Best case, win out and finish 13-3 win the division and #2 (possibly 1) seed.  Worst case scenario I see, Collapse.  Road woes continue even in Detroit, split 2-2 in these next 4 and lose the last 3 and finish 8-8.  I think we win these next four and have a good chance of 2-1 in our final 3 finishing 12-4.  Won't win the division, but go into the playoffs strong.  might finish 11-5 if we go into last game locked in to a wildcard spot and rest starters.

One of the top pass rushers was available earlier this season. It would have cost a lot, but seeing as how Mack might have been enough to  have us at 9-1, it probably would have been worth it. I’m betting that Oakland would have taken Chicago’s picks over ours anyway thinking they’d be better than ours, which is a correct assumption adding Mack to both teams. That and I doubt we had the cap to make it work anyway.

Spend some draft capital, and move up.

Spend some money, and probably lots of it, on a FA.

Or spend some draft capital on a trade.

Pretty much the only way we are going to get us a quality DE. And 3 things the Panthers rarely do. Although we do have a new sheriff in town. So fingers crossed.
