Thursday Night Packers vs Seahawks

I don’t necessarily think it is the nfl fugging us over. I’m sure this has happened to teams before in prior years. The nfl schedule is pretty complex.

With that said, it is a huge disadvantage. Four teams have basically had a mini bye before us. To Ron and company’s credit though, the team is 2-1 in those games so far. Hopefully 3-1after Seattle.

This is probably the best outcome for us, but I really hate seeing Seattle win any game.

yeah this also sets up a pretty big game next week. gotta take care of the lions though. I swear this is like the 3rd or 4th team this season we have faced coming off 10 days rest. its BS.

Yet another team we get to play coming off a Thursday night game

we played the falcons in week two after their Thursday night game with Philly

we played Cincy the very next week after their Thursday night gams

we played Philly the very next week after their Thursday night game against the Giants

we play the Seahawks after this Thursday night game.

Well if this is a disadvantage that should bode well for us on Sunday vs Detroit.

Great post, nice work man!

You know, I've seen Rodgers pretty upset a lot here recently. Got to wonder if he is kind of regretting extending his contract with Green Bay any at this point. Could you imagine seeing the QB needy teams scrambling to try and pick him up had he not extended his contract and reach FA in 2020. Then again he would be 36 at that point so who knows exactly what teams would have been willing to pay out to get him.

One week after the Panthers allow 52 on TNF, Frank Clark keeps Aaron Rodgers at bay just enough to ride the momentum and 10 day break into the Queen City to try and take Cam’s head off, while a better former Panther franchise player accused (much less convicted) of far less heinous crimes still waits on the call.

Only in America.

I believe this has happened more than a couple of seasons.  Seems to me someone mentioned this a couple of seasons ago.

Just as short week gives teams little to prepare the 1/2 bye helps those teams. While the players might not be available the coaching staff has more time to prepare.

I don't believe for one second that this was a just an oversight.  The NFL has their darling teams, and we're not one of them.

Scheduling can help or hurt a team just as much as the games.
