    Pretty sure if you take one of the best Offensive players off of almost any team, they would probably suffer as well.

 

    Almost half our team plays almost every snap. Why are we not worried about them?

He's on the field for 98% or whatever, not being used for 98%. It's not the big deal everyone is making it out to be. Much of the time he's a decoy.

Also many of his actual touches are in open space, its not the typical run the RB into the ground type of thing

How many times does CMC get lit up by defenders?  A handful of times in his career?  He's not piling on 2 yard runs where DTs are falling on his back each play 20 times a game.  He's also in super shape.

This goes back to the CJ thing....

But I am very curious why, when we are firmly winning, or losing, why CJ wasn't used to spell CMC?

That said, if you are going to take a RB high....play him as much as possible.

Yeah, I don't why they would be. It's not like he's getting 30 carries a game and his running style will keep him healthy longer than a lot of running backs. He's short, compact, and runs with a very low center of gravity.

When asked about CMC's high snap count,, Rivera, a Cal alumni, replied, "I am not worried about his high count at all.  He took math at Stanford.  Pretty sure he can handle it."
