Fiz might be on to something here. Cap move in prep for some extension. And regarding depth, I just don't think that he would have done well here without a major overhaul of the offense. It's just not a big deal to me because while he might be good elsewhere I don't think he ever really fit here.

Can't see it. The times he did play early in the year, he looked pretty good.

If McCaffrey were to go down, you seriously don't think we'd be better with Anderson than with Artis-Payne?

If it came out that CJ Anderson was released in favor of giving Cameron Artis-Payne more playing time, I'd jump on the "fire Rivera" bandwagon with both feet.

lol if you think that's it.

Rivera has shown utter disdain for CAP for almost four years now.

I'm looking forward to seeing what CAP can do with another team next year after 4 years of being screwed by Rivera's idiocy... because I like the kid.  He was a helluva SEC running back (top rusher in the SEC in 2014) and has averaged 4.3 ypc in extremely limited opportunities with Rivera while Stewart (who I love and respect) was averaging 4.1, then 3.8, then 3.4.

Even to this day CAP's got very little wear on his RB tires... I just want him to go to a team that will give him a chance.  He may succeed... he may very well fail.  But at least some other coach *might* give him a chance which was never gonna happen under Ron.

I don't think that's what it is.  I was responding to someone else's suggestion.

What a stupid situation.    We should have been using CJ a lot more than we were, the dude was productive each time he had touches.    We should have had two RB sets, etc.    So now what happens if CMC gets hurt?   Oh this team.

C.J. Anderson averages 4.3 ypc in limited carries and has a 33% catch percentage

"Dude was productive!"

Cameron Artis-Payne averages 4.3 ypc in limited carries and has a 100% catch percentage

"WHY DOES CAP SUCK SO MUCH?"

I wouldn't bet on it.

This from a guy who is...

I'd add that even if it were, social media posts would be an absolutely horse s--t reason to dump good depth off your roster when you're hoping for a playoff run.

You realize that, in this case, you're talking about a head coach that would prefer a back-up QB throw a pick-6 on the first play of the game than to have your MVP QB in the game because MVP QB wore a top-notch $2000 suit that didn't have a tie, right?

You realize this, right?
