If that's true, fine him or something.

By letting him go, you're rewarding him for making a fuss while simultaneously cutting our runningback depth.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face...

Maybe they would have done that.  On any other week than this.

I can see it and if true, don't blame Rivera a bit.

here's what happened according to a source.

CJ was asked why he was late to the RB meeting. He told the Coach Terrell there wasn't any reason for him to show up because you assholes won't play me anyway. Met with Coach Skipper after a short meeting Skip headed to Rivera's office. Then the decision was made to let him go.

ALL  of this is a lie

Man, if true, Rivera really does have no idea how to handle difficult personalities or personal situations.

Maybe... Just maybe he couldn't grasp Norv's offense and that was the reason he didn't get worked into the game plan. Wouldn't be the first time a decent RB couldn't fit in it.

Not a big deal except for CJ fan boys.

He wasn't a factor. There's other big issues that are more bothersome to me. Getting the defense right and protecting Cam.

It wasn't true. He said it was a lie. He hid that part.

Thanks, so we just released him for funsies.  The reason for releasing him cause of CMC is hogwash.  I mean its not even a reason. You have a great guy at one position and another solid one behind him. So why not have 2 really good players?

That's got nothing to do with the idea that he might not have fit Norv's offense. He might not have been able to get it or wrap his head around it.

That's a theory though, and given that he played well at the times he did see the field, one that doesn't have a lot of evidence.

The idea that we've taken a step down in depth is a lot less theoretical.
