Corn Elder is young, instinctive, lightning fast (as Donte) and has a high football IQ.  

Captain Munnerlyn is not viable with Adams either in the box or behind.  It just creates too much of a speed disproportion and I think is a huge part of our defensive problem at the moment.

theres a reason he doesnt start , he  SUCKS! . he was mediocre in college vs no names what  makes you think hes able to cover someone like michael thomas which btw will be in the slot vs us

Captain should've been benched after the TB game. Fitz pretty much just played "throw at #41" during their comeback and he did it with great success.

I don't know that I agree he sucks, but if he was tearing it up in practice he'd be playing more. They had no problem playing rookie Jackson, and Elder's had more time to learn the system.

And so will every other QB and OC, til "I'll trail your slot guy all across the field, then try to stand over him after somebody else manages to tackle him" Munnerlyn is finally benched.  We'll never know if Elder can be better, until he's given the opportunity.  Frankly, I don't see how he can be worse.  I'm certain that he can match the Captain's rare flash play of a corner blitz, though.

As a rule of thumb, yes, but we give up so much with CM out there, that how can he be worse?  The slightest head fake, and Captain is 1-2 steps behind, never to contest, not to mention, stop, the inevitable completion.
