I'll acknowledge that there isn't much in the way of evidence, especially on the heels of getting blown out. But I'm the sort to hope when it all looks hopeless, so until they are mathematically eliminated or lose in the playoffs, I will believe they are capable.

This team is more than capable of going on a big run into the playoffs.. it all depends on the defense tho.

This is a one and done playoff team because of coaching. Talent is there but not the coaching.

One thing to look forward to is that we finally have an owner who won’t accept the status quo. Tepper wants to win. Don’t know if signing Reid will ever pan out but just knowing Tepper’s willing to do this bodes well for the Panthers.

Here have been teams that made it to the Super bowl thay didn't look like Super Bowls team mid way thru the season

In NFC it is Rams and Saints and who else?   This year NFC feels softer than last year - Eagles and Vikes and Atlanta seem not to be as good.   We can go on a lucky run and get through, it has been done before many times.

Personally...before the season I never considered us a serious player to win it.  Just not there yet.

Aren’t we similar to Green Bay?  We “could” because of our QB and “might” put it all together and make a run but that isn’t realistic.  These teams doing something new, different that gives them a dominant edge win it.  And yes, Belichicks team is always in the mix with that QB and he is constantly changing.

This team top to bottom is good...but not Super Bowl level.

Awwww phewey.  You just need to be in post season and peak at the right time.  A bunch of 10 win teams have won the SB.  We are very lucky to support a team that has consistently put itself in the post season mix.

we're lucky now considering how it used to be, but you can't count on luck to get through a bunch of road playoff games.   you have to be good.   we're not that good.   we're not as good as the '05 team that ran out of gas and rb's on the way to the nfc championship.  our o-line is pretty bad.   d-line is ok.  too many holes

No, its clear that we are not ready and our window is closing fast.  

This could be the last year for TD, Olsen, Kalil, Adams, and Peppers.  We could possibly be looking to replace 8 starters in the offseason.  It feels like if not this year, then we will have to rebuild.
