Apparently, this is not the first time this particular officiating group did a piss poor job for us. Back in 2016:

"Newton absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit in the second quarter that was not penalized. After taking the blow, he flipped the ball to Washington linebacker Trent Murphy and drew a taunting penalty from referee Walt Coleman’s crew. This is the same group whose no-calls in a Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals prompted Newton to seek a phone conversation with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell."

So evidently Walt Coleman holds a strong grudge against Cam, Coach Ron & the Panthers. Change my mind.

Refs were the least of our issues. Yes they were biased against us, but that game was lost when the 2 touchdowns in 15 seconds happened.

 

This is going to be a long 10 days.

How was that TD ruled a catch? He clearly did not gain control until he went OB. How did they only have 1 penalty? How did they not call offsetting penalties in the Reid play? Damn

I feel we should still meet once a year & continue the Battle for the Ol' Mountaineer Jug. Those were the days...still can't believe we lost in '04. Embarrassing!
