To those claiming the NFL is rigged...

It's funny how the NFL is only rigged when we lose.

True we get lucky as much as others but I don't think the NFL gets anything out of the Panthers winning so I wouldn't call it rigged.

Steelers are the redneck team of America and vastly popular.      It will come back around to them when they play the Patriots though.

I don't believe that the league is out to get us, or that it rigs games, or anything of the sort.

Bad calls happen. Sometimes they hurt us. Sometimes they help us. That's just how it is. If you have to count on every call going your way to win a game, you're probably not a very good team.

The reality of pro sports is sometimes you lose games. Some fans are gonna latch on to a flimsy excuse for every loss, but way more often than not the real reason is that the other team is just better or played better in this particular game.

If you don't think that Broncos superbowl was rigged then you need to get that bifocals prescription looked at and maybe move the rocking chair closer to the TV when watching because it was the worst I've seen in almost any sport.   There was at least 20 no calls and it was documented.

So despite multiple occurrences of blatant referee bias over the years, you don't think it's possible that the refs in this game were going try to make sure the Steelers had the momentum?

I can't remember who we were playing a couple years ago, but the guy that was supposed to be head ref of that game was a big fan of the other team. So with things like that happening, how can you call it a flimsy excuse?

It was a preseason game with a replacement ref who was a Saints fan, and he was removed from the game.

Yes, it's a flimsy excuse.  We lost because we got dominated.

Look guys, I'd love as much as anybody to be able to say that we lost for some other reason than just that we got outplayed and outcoached by a better team.

But the sad reality is that we lost because we got outplayed and outcoached by a better team.

Denying that stuff like this happens is what keeps you from addressing the reasons behind it, which ultimately means it continues to happen.

We don't need more excuses.

I agree that the NFL has a script and has a tendency to support teams that draw money after all this is what they are in business for to make money. Cam is on the wrong side he will not submit to their influence and now we have added Reid double no no . It is part why so many teams passed on him even tho he has skills. Every professional sport is somewhat rigged. That' why gambling is a part of every major sport. Every now and then they give the people a Cinderella story just to keep people watching. We being played like the Matrix.

We got dominated but the NFL was not thinking that we would lay a fat egg. They had the refs to call for Steelers. Holding, pass interference calls that Panthers did not get. Even tried to rob us of a 1st down when it was clear as day we got it. Steelers needed no help bc we did not show up at all. Everyone including Vegas thought it would be a close game. We as fans were the only ones disappointed.

Rigged by the Russians. Bout time somebody finally exposed them.  I’m proud of you and the rest of your compadres. It took a 32 point beat down yes but at least they are exposed for the cheating liars that they all are.

Im gonna go to one of those websites and buy me a cheap100% authentic replica NHL Carolina hurricane jersey cause I’m done with the NFL.

I don’t care. Call me a terrible fan, a biased fan, a homer...whatever. You cannot look objectively at the refereeing last night and not see that it was extremely lopsided to the point of absurdity. That many terrible calls and decisions by the referees shouldn’t go unmentioned as it’s not possible for it to be by accident. Did the Panthers get destroyed? Yes, of course. But the refereeing has got to be fair in order to preserve the integrity of the game, regardless of outcome. That was wrong and you know it.

It's their own fault their meddling has been sniffed out. It's obvious at times, thus "you have to beat the referees".

I don't have a problem pointing out bias. I've felt that way as a fan but after that 49ers playoff game here at BofA I was convinced of NFL fixing. My friends who are not Panthers fans said it look to be so. It became a HUGE lol when I think their DE jumped into our backfield EVERYBODY is looking at him and he casually lines back up. That's on tape. No flag.

That's just one example of the foolishness the NFL pulled that day. It's all on tape!

The 49ers couldn't score and after that became obvious and the D gained momentum, refs penaltied and coddled them into their first score, and so on and so on.

So those of you saying the NFL is rigged, why would you watch a rigged sport?

Some people liked wrestling a lot. It was king until everybody started to joke about the obvious choreography and story lines.

They're still on TV. Wanna watch?
