To those claiming the NFL is rigged...

It was definitely a biased game man.

I looked up the schedules of the previous Superbowl winners and a couple games stood out. 

New England got beat 16-0 by Buffalo in 2016. Got shutout at home and still went on to win the Superbowl.

New England got beat 41-14 by the Chiefs in 2014. Went on to win the Superbowl. 

Bad beats can and do happen to good teams. Luckily for us, we have a few easy games coming up to give this team some momentum before taking on the Saints, and we do get our first meeting at home.

I don’t care. Call me a terrible fan, a biased fan, a homer...whatever. You cannot look objectively at the refereeing last night and not see that it was extremely lopsided to the point of absurdity. That many terrible calls and decisions by the referees shouldn’t go unmentioned as it’s not possible for it to be by accident. Did the Panthers get destroyed? Yes, of course. But the refereeing has got to be fair in order to preserve the integrity of the game, regardless of outcome. That was wrong and you know it.

Probably. But I can’t recall a game where every single call or non-call went in favor of one team. Every. Single. Call. That’s where my problem lies.

I can't remember what game it was (damn my memory) but we got a lot of calls our way that game

It’s cool, dude. I’m just in a bad mood this morning and the refs are just the icing on the turd the Panthers took on Heinz Field last night.

New England Monday night a few years back. Luke had a PI in the end zone negated by a tipped pass.

I didn’t hear a lot of “NFL is rigged to make them the most money” nonsense when we went 15-1 during the regular season. 

The only thing worse than our defense tonight is how many sore losers are infiltrating this forum. Frankly, I’m embarrassed by our fan base right now more than by our O-line. Grow a pair or join the Falcons forum.

People kill me with the need to reduce things to black and white. There is no way any reasonable person could come away and not question a ton of calls/no calls tonight.

It's called points shaving. ESPN wrote an article this week saying how bad Las Vegas lost last weekend like a record loss. They won't let that happen again. The mob has these refs in their pocket. Pretty obvious they weren't taking a chance last night. Watch sunday everyone that's supposed to win probably will.
