Thanks.  What are the Powerball numbers this week?

I aint a fortune reader.

But if you pay attention you could have seen that going into Pittsburg which has been one of the best teams in the AFC for a long time on 3 days rest was not going to be good.

Did I expect our defense to play this bad? nope, but good thing for us this still only counts as one single loss. people acting like its more than that are just being silly

I will give some of you guys credit. You stick by this sh%t storm until the bitter end. Your eyes don't deceive you and the truth has been laid bare. Every year of the same results just beats a man down.

No matter what this team does from this point on and games they pull out their ass, they are not going anywhere besides home come January.

Tbh, even with the almost non-existent amount of belief i have in rivera, the philly and ravens wins had me seeing the rivera master illusion...  that this team was any good.

Truth is, this happens every year.  As i've always maintained, we win in spite of rivera because of generational talents on each side of the ball.  Every year he provides a momentary mirage that fools us into thinking he isn't that bad...  but then a game comes along to remind us of what a fuging shitty ass coach he actually is, and how no matter how good we may appear to be, we will never reach our full potential under him because he can't coach.  Every season, there is at least one game where the curtain is pulled back and the Oz is exposed for his true self.  Even in 2015...  it just so happens that game didn't occur until the Superbowl then.  Maybe one day all of the Rivera-defenders will realize, we'll never be able to overcome his deficiencies.

This game wasn't even about Rivera and his deficiencies.

The truth is, injuries along the O-line, the lack of a stalwart at LT, and the general need to upgrade the talent level on the O-line stuck out like a soar thumb tonight.

We also need a young, legit pass rusher or two along the D-line. And, another athletic corner with ball skills who is starting caliber won't hurt.

How does an entire team fail to show up at all (again), if it isn't?

We've changed DCs, OCs, STCs, and the one constant is Rivera, and this happens every year.

One game in a tough venue after four days.

Stop acting like it's been all bad, or that we've had anywhere near perfect teams. It's a wonder that we do as well with we do with such deficiencies and injuries on the O-line. And this has been a problem for years.

Agreed on all counts, but i still contend those problems are well camoflaged until we play a better coached team.  Pitt's defense lost their best player last season (likely to a career-ending injury), their secondary has undergone an entire revamp, and they've been working in young guys into the LBing corps in recent years...  and yet, they absolutely destroyed our "vaunted" offense.  This wasn't about personnel, imo.  It was all coaching.
