It’s time to talk about what’s wrong with Luke

Bunch of hurt feelings from some cry babys tonight, I stopped getting pissed after half, and was just watching to see what would happen next.

I wonder how many people on here remember when the Panthers sucked? before Cam for example? man I've seen a lot of bad games. and honestly thought that tonight could be bad for us because of the short week.

Guy hasn’t been the best lb in football and seems to be a liblity in coverage. Tightends routinly Cook us. Not even just elite ones. Vance McDonald, Jesse James, even old man Vernon Davis. Is this real life?

Luke was fine yesterday. Twice he was in the right gap to make a tackle for no gain and got held or pushed in the back. McDonald also pushed off and still didn't score, even though they gave him the TD.

I don't believe in paying any LB the kind of money Luke is receiving. I didn't want him to get a massive contract, and it stings when he looks average and isn't making plays. I also don't understand why Poe is playing so poorly. I used call this guy the dancing bear because I loved his footwork and hand combat. He could really clog up rushing lanes, but now he's getting beaten and I don't know why. This season has been bizarre.

Something interesting might start to happen on defense. Jackson, although he was burned alive on a deep ball by the best WR in the NFL last night, seems to have earned the trust of the coaching staff. What does that mean? In years past Panthers CBs could earn the ear of the coaching staff with great play, and feeling confident against a certain WR, the CB could ask to be put in single coverage on a particular WR. I know because I've seem them make this request on the sidelines. Jackson might be in more single coverage unless RR blows his stack and shuts it down. I'd rather be risky and aggressive on defense when you have a poop defense overall.

Eric Washington is the problem. When the entire D looks broken after a coordinator change it's easy to pinpoint the issue. Yeah, we lost Star but we gained Eric Reid and Dante Jackson. From a personnel standpoint there's no excuse for our D falling off a cliff. Eric Washington is trash as DC.

I think the Problem with Luke & the other LB's is the DL lack of Pressure or run stopping Thats on the it's on the DL Coach Brady Hoke  with a strong DL Luke & TD can run side to side covering to hitting or tackling with what we got now they have to stay close to the DL to stop the run or pass rush

Players age and play can dip a little. If it's happened to the legends and hall of famers it's going to happen to Luke.

Seattle fans are having the same questions about Wagner.

But defenses work in unison, the better the pieces are around elite players the better they look.

He's better than the vast majority of safeties we've employed in our franchise history. Which granted, isn't saying much.

Yep Reid play is refreshing on the backend.

Anytime your safety leads the team in tackles that mean the poo in front of him went awry on every level
