I recall they had 38 at the time, maybe 45, game was far from over.  At 52 yeah you let up.

Ron goes soft with a two score lead.  Big difference.

Dude, they were up 45 to 14 in the 4th quarter when I made the post because  they sent  ben out to qb after samuel fumbled on the 10.   I called classes.  You defended the steelers talking about foot on the neck shiitt.  They score, making it 52 and pull ben.  Apparently a 31 point lead its ok to keep starters in with you, but whooah 38 time to pull em.  Whatever.  Sorry you caught it...but don't defend that cheap classes team and I won't associate you with them.

steelers have one of worst secondaries in the nfl.

We can't exploit their secondary if Cam doesn't have time in the pocket. How many times was he sacked? How many times did Cam have a defender in his face within 3 seconds? Like do you understand basic football?

then dont call passing plays that take 6 seconds to develop. steelers are a joke defensively.

We were behind big and they were scoring on our defense every drive. You can't call short passes and try to march down the field that way and waste so much time that you can't even comeback.

You know what, I was running behind on DVR at the time and didn’t realize it until discovering how far apart we were in our opinions.  I don’t think the score was that lopsided for me yet at that time.  My bad dude.

A truly good team doesn't lose this badly just because it's a short week and we have to travel.

We didn't get screwed over by the refs, and the league is not out to get us.

We lost to a better team.

It's the NFL. It happens.

Good teams have let downs.  The stealers were 1-2-1 at one point...they tied the fuuucking browns man.  They are not inherently better.  They had a better night with home field advantage, and punched us in the face.  Its the NFL and it happens.

Not every result has one cause.

The refs did screw us, as even the announcers and blandino noted on everything from push-offs to bobbled touchdowns to generous first downs.  It is not the ONLY reason we lost, but definitely played a roll in the final score.

If Reid has been tested five times, that is like nearly every game.  I don't think anyone is debating whether the league is happy with being sued and all.  It does NOT smell right.

We lost for playing like crap.  We got blown out for a whole myriad of reason...but I guarantee you, it is not because the stealers are inherently "good"  and we aren't.

Not necessarily saying we aren't "good" but I don't believe we're actually as good as some folks think.

I'd have a tough time justifying that we're "great" or anything else higher than just "good"

    • After the Chiefs game a 6'5 X would really help in the Red zone. I would also love to add Slayton in FA
    • But again, you can restock a defense through free agency much easier than offensive skill positions. Spend all our cap space on defense, take a true elite prospect who also happens to fit a position of need in T-Mac, and then use the rest of our picks on defense. Again, every season there’s a smattering of great DL, LB, and DB options in free agency, a Top 10 WR never hits free agency, ever.  The only way you get one is through the draft or giving up 1st round picks in a trade for one. If he’s there when we’re on the clock, he has to be the pick, he’s just that good.
    • It must be an early Christmas for JT O'Sullivan having Thielen back so he could put a coal in Thielen's stocking every chance he gets.  Honestly, the biggest surprise is not so much the anticipation. There were those moments here and there last year as well. It's that even that one positive quality he had seemingly vanished his first two games to where it looked like it was all but over, only for it to start coming back some until you get exclamation points all over this game film. And some of those throws were under a lot of duress, something I feel is something new. Finally, those deeper shots are starting to land. Not all of them, but enough that defenses may have to start respecting them. No guarantees whether this will end up as more of anomaly but I certainly hope it isn't. The Green Bay game was a sampler of what BY could be. Against KC, we got a meal. If we could start getting these meals regularly, we might actually have something to work with here.
