Over the last nine quarters, since the fourth quarter comeback at Philadelphia, the Panthers lead the NFL with 99 points, including 4.1 points per drive.

So basically, ever since Ron said "Fug it, Norv you do what you want" the Carolina Panthers have the best offense in football.

What you really mean is that we told Torrey Smith to sit the fug down cuz he's hurt, the offense opened up.

You can tell Rivera’s hands were on the playcalling in the third quarter the last game

You mean the 3rd qtr. where we threw 9 passes and attempted 3 runs? Is that the one Ole “Ground and Pound” has his hands all over?

As was already stated, cool “stories” become facts here when needed.

But did Ron actually do that?

No, Ron generally is forced into things.

Smith got hurt and IMO that sparked him being forced to use Samuel/Moore more.  The offense has looked entirely different since that has occurred.  They change the dynamic because the first in literally YEARS we have playmaking ability after a catch/run at the WR spot.

No, you can tell that the Buccaneers are still a pro team with a good to decent QB and one of the better receiver groups in the game (1st in passing offense at the time of the game). They made some adjustments to route running and started killing us in the middle game. Their defense also poured everything they could into the third quarter but just couldn't sustain the pressure on us.

We played a good team who came out swinging after halftime, we withstood it and sealed the deal. And let's face it, if the Bucs were in the AFC East, NFC West or AFC South, they'd be playoff contenders. There ain't a pushover team in the NFC South.

Rivera, Norv, Washington and Blackburn planned a helluva game. And find some like for Rivera... he's going to be here for years to come.

7 and a half years of the same old Rivera football, letting off the gas after a 7 point lead vs the last 2 weeks

More like we finally have a competent OC in Norv instead of all those years of Shula ball, and unlike the beginning of the season we finally have our full compliment of weapons on the field with Olson being back and a healthy Samuel and DJ Moore getting reps with Torrey Smith on the sidelines.
