Hard fought battle,  steelers get up 10-0 at the half.  Norv adjusts.  We come out guns blazing. Score 14 unanswered points.  Fourth quarter steelers wake up and score 11. We get the ball back with 2 minutes to go.  Cam does it again and goes 80 yards to score the game winning touchdown on a bootleg.  

 

Samuel goes off and has a 100 yard game while newton throws for 3 TD  and runs one in.

Almost impossible to make an accurate prediction for fugball unless it's just a total mismatch. What I hope is that the Steelers defensive line is still worn down from that tough game against the Ravens and we're able to gash 'em in the run game early. That will open up the passing game against a weaker secondary and allow us to control the game on offense. We need to start fast, because in situations like this, the home team tends to get stronger as the game goes on. 

But again, Thursday Night fugball, so it could be a crazy turnover fest with a totally unpredictable outcome.

I have this feeling Thursday night is going to trigger a lot of our bi-polar fans  who we will have to talk off the ledge after the game. 

I am  not sold on this D at all. We will have to out score them to have a chance.

Panthers 31-28 Go more traditional on offense [Steeler LBs much better than Bucs]. While they are looking for sweeps outside, Panthers attack middle. Wish Thursday kickoff moved up to 7-7:30.

There's too many Saints threads on the bored right now. If we lose Thursday night, Friday will be fill of threads that we're going to lose out and be done and then by Sunday it'll be we still have a chance. Everyone should be focused on this game. We never beat shittsburgh and i hate their fans and team and "they travel well" fuging bandwagon poo more than most teams.

Having said that not sure how I feel. They embarrassed us in 2014 on Sunday Night when we looked lights out after starting 2-0. Embarrassed us with roughly the same fuging team they got playing thursday (which is sad). Short week, on the road, primetime, terrible field conditions bc heinz field is a literal toilet bowl.

You think the Panthers need to be that good (490 yds of offense, 5 sacks, 3 turnovers, and a defensive TD) to win by only 8? Wow! That is the perfect scenario for the Panthers as far as numbers go to only win by a small margin.

that one thing is how the Panthers handle a 3 4 defense...blitz pickups included  neither Shula or Cam has shined with this previously

Vegas spread is currently Steelers -3.5...(opened at -5.) Barely over home field advantage. ESPN has 62% of the money on the Panthers at -4.

JuJu will have himself a game against Captain and McDonald will have a couple big catches. We hold Connor to under 100 all purpose yards, maybe 1 TD. AB will probably score because he's AB. Ben will turn the ball over, at least twice.

The Steelers drop lineman into coverage and blitz too often to match our speed. #98 Vince Williams cant cover Moore/Samuel/Byrd's speed or Olsen's size. DJ Moore will score, and have 100+ yards. McCaffrey will have some big runs early and 50-60 receiving yards. Olsen will score.
