I keep seeing a lot of people think that the market for Reid will be little to none and that he signed here because he had no where else. The team that Drafted him a large market and Politically tolerant(for the most part) San Francisco offered as well. Difference is he probably would have backed up Taart in SF, Reid said we had the better offer so here we are.

That said Reid’s play could open doors to places that ignored him before because they see the blowback from having him kneel isn’t as bad as having a hole in your secondary. All it takes is one to show the rest he is worth the risk.

I think we have leverage here. we're the only team that took a chance on him when no one else would.  He'll remember that and will be much more willing to negotiate with us first before other teams. Also, keep in mind that his collusion case is still on going and he still kneels. Many NFL owners are still cold on him and won't just change their tunes 360 degrees based on a season of play.

also, let's pump the breaks on Reid.  I still say his 2 plays the last two weeks getting the hype have been Charles Godfrey specials.   Those type plays didn't make Godfrey good.  Reid still is a shell of what he was and that should be expected so I am not dogging him for that. 

Let's see what people think of his play after the Steelers game. A true test.  Good QB with 2 great WRs and a great RB.  Which means S play will be big.

Amen.  They  do not see it.  They think they are questioning his political views, something that allows them to have an opinion--even if it is this stupid.  They are really attacking his rights--and they want to take them away (if they think there should be consequences for not standing--like they do in North Korea.  On one hand, he can carry an assault rifle down Main Street while whistling Toby Keith songs and waving Confederate flags, but don't let a black man silently take a knee to protest inequalities in America.  Revisionist history is denial.  Heck, I left the GOP because they were revising current events.
