Numbers lie all the time. On paper they are the number 1 passing offense, but in reality they just got a 40 burger hung on them by the not number 1 offense. The so call number one offense just benched their starting qb for their backup QB(which isn't something you do with the best offense in the league) and they are sitting pretty at 3-5. That is not the most feared offense in the league.

That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works. Offenses don't play each other. Their offense being #1 has nothing to do with how many points our offense scored on their defense. Their defense is not great; our offense is. Their offense is great, our defense is good enough to hold them to 28 while ours scored 42. That's how they beat New Orleans. New Orleans couldn't outscore them because their defense couldn't stop them. It also helps that TB has zero to lose and zero fugs to give, so they can sling it all over the field and see what sticks.

We've beaten the top offense in a shootout and scored 36 on the top defense. We can hang with anyone. We can absolutely beat Pittsburgh if we play like we've been playing the last two weeks.

What are you talking about???

Nobody views the Bucs in the same light because of a horrid defense and not knowing which fitz/Winston will show up. But that still doesn't take away from a Bucs offense that week in and week out are going toe to toe with the rams as far as production is concerned.

The perception of the Bucs offense is like the people who detract from Cam's game because it isn't what they are use too. Just because it doesn't look a certain way doesn't mean that it isn't happening. If you put Desean Watson, Goff or Mahomes in Tampa and said they had the number one ranked offense you would buy it

No brainer.

bradberry on brown because he is more disciplined and not a rookie. We will have a game plan.

those who think JuJu is a slow possession receiver, you are out of your mind. That guy is very fast and his foot work is phenomenal.

dont expect us to run man to man (island) coverage Thursday. It will be zone shading and a lot of man under.

Man I wish I can PIE you 100 times for what you have just said.  I was thinking the same to myself, this definitely not how all this works... hahahahaha

Yes you would say they have the number on offense with a different non-turnover prone leader at the helm. But since you don’t have that, and they are being out scored weekly according to their losses.. no fears them or respect them. Do you or any one else in the league go..oh no we got the bucs this week. Number one offense..

they don’t even have a legit running game to fear. As far as I’m concerned, rams saints, pitt, Texans, us, hell anyone with a legit qb have much better offenses. I get what your going at they have some nice weapons, but having a fararri with a blind man driving with no break(who is their starting running back again?) isn’t gonna scare or make anyone respect them.

Juju isn’t a slow possession guy at all, but he isn’t as explosive as AB, or gonna demand the same attention. Rookie 8 games into the season shouldn’t stop us from putting our best corner or cover athlete on this guy. I think it would good experience to let the young guy cover the best for atleast a series or 2.

You don’t experiment in midst of a championship season. That one or two series is when Jackson gets hit with a double move and then that one score is the game decided. Football is a tough sport man, it wouldn’t be smart for us to put Jackson on brown unless it’s our scheme.

we don’t have to agree. I’m a traditional thinkerr.

I personally think Bradberry on Juju and Jackson on AB with Safety help at all times.

Bradberry is more technically sound than Jackson,..

but in the Baltimore game there were several passes that Bradberry got burned bad on but were overthrown— AB catches every MF thing thrown his way so if Bradberry is burnt,... AB is going downtown.

jackson all the way on AB with Safety help,.. period.

Cornerback doesn't stop being cornerback just because it's Brown he's facing. He's been playing the position his whole life and AB wouldn't be the first to try a double move on Jackson. I'm sure Tampa's D-Jax double move would have been just as effective against the rookie as AB's would be. Both elite deep threat vet guys. Difference is Dontae is fast enough to make up for a misstep or two even at the high end of things, where Bradberry is just gonna be toast. Like many have said, feed AB to the young guy with a safety chaperone and he should be fine. Worst case he gets burned and learns some valuable lessons and we switch Brad over to finish the job.

Amazing how much shade Bradberry gets for being our best corner.

To answer the OP,  Jackson should be covering AB.

I'm not saying Bradberry is bad at all. He is very fundamentally sound. He's least likely to make a mistake or be out of place during coverage,I just think Jackson has more tools to work with and more wiggle room to recover from mistakes. Bradberry's 4.6(i think that was his 40?) doesn't allow much margin for error vs Browns explosives. Brown is gonna get his, Neither is going to make Brown look like Evans or Jackson this week. Key is how much after the catch and how often are we gonna let him eat. To elaborate, Bradberry is currently our best corner, I think he is reaching his ceiling as to what he can accomplish with his athletic profile which is solid starter. Jackson's is much higher...

Doesn't make sense to do that. Just use your #1 on AB. Bottom line. It's not like we are going to run man coverage the whole game anyways. It will most likely be zone integrity.

Also, I looked back at Bradberry's game log, and he hasn't played a WR similar to AB, so why would you even consider putting a rook on AB when we have JB? JB has won the battles against OBJ, JJ, ME, MT, and other elite types. Not sure why we would even doubt him.

Jackson with safety help on AB...Bradberry JuJu straight up...Extra pressure to pass rush/stop the run and I think we can do enough to slow them down. We can’t let Conner run all over us and we simply can’t give up too many explosive plays to their pass catchers. Considering Cam has never beaten the Steelers (which I’m positive he’s very aware of) I feel like our offense is going to get theirs. Also the team overall I’d hope will play with an edge considering Tepper is from there and you know he’s probably let the guys know it means a little more.
