CMC worth the pick?

When his name was called on draft night he was worth the pick

Don't know where this offense would be without CMC

Before the draft I was a huge Fournette guy even tho I liked CMC also

But now i wouldn't trade CMC for  Fournette no matter what the Jags offered

Not even two seasons and he's one of my favorite  Panthers ever

debatable. id wager chris clark has had more of an impact on our success than mccaffery. if you HAD to take one out for a series who would you choose?

Dumb question. If we had drafted oj Howard like you wanted, which one would you take out for a series?

CMC is the most important player in this offense next to Cam Newton and it isn't close. I was on the fence at first, but now have no doubt.

It is evident he was absolutely worth the pick to anyone without a personal bias against him.

Question was "he worth a top 10 pick" my answer is still no. The big difference is Norv fooking Turner. CMC type player was available in rounds 2 and 3 in that draft. We could of had 2 outstanding players that year if we didnt pull the trigger so early on a scatback. You guys get gitty after we beat non condltenders and cmc has a good game.  People so pressed to make him seem like some pre bowl type talent when he is really a James White type of talent.  This year our OLine is playing out of it's mind and Norv actually as given us a professional playbook. I love the support of cmc but keeping it real if that draft was redone he wouldn't of been picked at number 8.

So who was worth a top 10 pick then in 2017? If not a number 1 receiver and number 1 running back,... then who?

The guy is our number 1 receiver and running back,... so hows that not worth the Number 8 pick? Hes been the difference maker in at least 8 wins since we drafted him-- big chance we dont win those games without him,..

So again,..who else would we have drafted at number 8 that won us 8 games or heavily contributed to the wins?

Ill wait,.. this should be good.

Not just CMC, but Curtis Samuel. Two guys who will be cornerstones of this franchise for years to come.

Barnett and Kamara would still have been a better combo but it’s water under the bridge.  The gap between that hypothetical 1/2 pick combo and the real one isn’t near as massive as it looked last year.
