Yeah a long way to go. And fact is the only reason the Taints ever got a Lombardi is the NFL allowed the Taint head hunting defense to destroy Brett Favre in a Playoff game. Much like the NFL allowed the Broncos to destroy Cam week 1 post SB50. Unconscionable the HC and DC for the Taints are still active in the NFL.

Saints went RB #1 as recently as 2011, 2006. Payton the HC all during that span.

If the saints knew Kamara was this good they would’ve taken him first round.  They just hit a lot in that draft.  Tip the hat.

The last two years they've had Jeff Ireland helping as a consultant.

Prior to that, they were the team that bypassed Luke Kuechly for Mark Barron.

I never said that. I said they did the right thing last year and took us behind the woodshed and look to be the class of the NFC if not the league this year.

Yeah...No one was doing that.

And the whole "don't take this position at this spot" is way overblown. Especially for a guy like McCaffrey who's way more than just a runningback.

CMC not a top 10 draft pick after watching other players at his position shine even brighter. Ppl love making these post after we play against a weak ass run defense. Lol let me see cmc vs a top 5 run defense then @ me.
