CMC worth the pick?

I honestly can't say one way or the other yet. Too early to tell. I absolutely LOVE the versatility he brings to the offense and he must be accounted for at all times, but unless the RB performs like Gurley, Saquon, or Elliot I can't really say if they are worth a top 10 pick.

Love me some CMC and love what Norv does with him though.

What’s your opinion on Leonard fournette?

He lead the team in receptions and yards from scrimmage by a wide margain last year and is doing the same this year, while also leading the team in rushing yards.  On pace for about 1000 rushing and 700 receiving this year (going by stats through 8 games x 2) .

No , he hasn't shown that hes some generational talent but hes incredibly important and valuable for the team.

His performance is being really overshadowed by Kamara and Hunt from the 2017 draft, he'd be getting a lot more attention if there weren't two generational backs that came out the same year he did.

Its a bit early to make any definitive statements. The most impressive thing for CMC so far is that he never gets hurt and is incredibly durable and reliable. Some players flash for 3 or 4 seasons and thats it but CMC is the kind of player I think who might not be some sort of generational back but he has the chance to be a HoFer by churning out season after season of consistently good production and clutch plays.

CMC is the drive mode of the offense.

Sport mode for speedy quick passes, screens, pass plays.

All Terrian/Mountian for inbetween tackle run.

Launch Control for quick HB Dives that surprises defenses.

CMC when he is in launch control.

    • his height, size and arm will forever cause problems and limitations...that is what it is.  I think to a degree, the law of averages is just coming into play a bit with him.  So as he plays more and more, you just flat out get the decent days mixed in too.  Which is just going to happen.
    • Good point. He's definitely better in 10-15 yards. I think that's his biggest improvement. But he wasn't 3-10 +15, he was 3-7, with at least one drop (minor but still). And with multiple passes at 14 yards completed. This passing chart doesn't look like at By one, lol. He threw more "deep" passes than Mahomes (NOT comparing him to Mahomes in a skill way lol), or at least more beyind 10 yards.
    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
