I’m going to the game today and I’m considering taking the light rail to uptown from uncc. Is there a lot of light rail traffic after the game, extended wait times??? Which station is closest to the stadium? Or am I better just driving and dealing with the traffic.

It’s gonna be a long wait time even if you drive, so yeah you should be okay ish taking light rail if you leave early enough.  I go to UNCC so when I left from here to go to the 1st game this year, traffic + finding a spot was terrible.  So it would end up being cheaper for you.

Interesting dynamic today with this being the Panthers' "Salute to Service'' game. Safety Eric Reid will be kneeling during the national anthem as his protest against social injustice. He also has strong military ties in his family, so his kneeling is no disrespect to anyone that serves the country. My cousin just got back from Afghanistan. My mom was in the armed services. My uncle was enlisted. The list goes on,'' Reid said earlier this week. "But when they get home they're still black in America. They're going to fight the same wars when they get home and still face the same things I'm talking about. So I get encouragement from my family that served in the armed forces because they agree with what I'm saying.''
