Aints' Davenport Injured

But really, because the Saints aren't as good as they are on paper.

They lost to the Bucs with a second string, heave it up QB.

They barely beat the Browns, who are still not a good team despite there being a little life there.

They whipped the Redskins pretty good, but I'm not sold on Washington's offense. The Saints had good matchups in this game whereas the Panthers match up bad with Washington.

The Saints fared a little better against the Giants than we did, but we almost beat ourselves that game.

Saints barely beat the Ravens, who we pretty much stomped.

You got the Falcons in overtime, whom we had a chance to tie with to go to OT.

...and the Vikings win exposed a lot of the Saints continuing weaknesses, and Kirk Cousins' lack of talent.

The Saints are a bad team that is catching some breaks. If not for Brees, a favorable early schedule, and a slightly improved defense the past few weeks, they are probably more like 4-3 right now.

They'll be drubbed by LA, then have to go to Cincy, and have a shootout. Then Philly heads south to beat up their secondary even more with a new weapon, as the dirty birds/divisional foe show up the next week for another shootout.

I'm not saying 100% that it will end up in a skid for them. I'm just saying that I think it will be harder on them in the coming 6-7 weeks than it will be on us.

Any given Sunday, though.

this could turn out to be a big thing.  If it's turf toe, and they bring him back before he's ready, it could linger for the rest of the season, and even into next year.

And the last thing you want your rookie DE to do is lose valuable time to develop in the middle of the season.

Even more so when you spent 2 1st round picks on him.

To be honest even in BOA it would be like a Steelers home game..... PA isn't a long flight at least..... We have the least travel miles of any team this season by far.

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure we have the least miles to travel in the whole NFL. I take that as a lucky good thing

So, you handicap all of our wins, while making excuses for yours, aside from the Ravens win?

You're the 2nd longest FG in history away from having lost to a 1 win team. Saints dominated the Giants, and the score would have been much worse, had they converted a couple red zone trips. Still won by double digits.

It took a massive choke job from the Eagles for another win. We don't talk about the Patriots winning the SB. We talk about the Falcons choking. That's exactly what happened in Philly. (I don't actually feel this way. Panthers fought hard. Philly got a little conservative, then tight, and the Panthers took that game. Just saying we can all handicap wins.)

Ravens have proven to be good at home, sub par on the road. Good win for the Panthers. But how can you give credit for slaughtering a team we barely beat, but then compeltely discredit the Saints destroying the Skins that you lost to, due to matchups. That's hypocrisy, my friend.

Listen, we're dealing with teams that are 6-1 and 5-2. Discrediting what the Saints have done, while at the same time, hyping the Panthers, is silly. Both teams can be good. Saints very well may lose to the Rams. But Cincy, Philly, and ATL are very winnable games. Cowboys as well.

Saints have beaten 2 teams that you've lost to. Don't come at me with excuses for those, then talk about how much better you beat the Ravens lol.

I doubt they rush him back. Saints dline has depth.

28th ranked pass defense and Qb rating of 111 surrendered for one.

Saints played 2 bad games on defense. The rest have been fine.

Is he on offense? No.

Is there defense still the worst in football? Yep.

Doesn't matter.

Not anywhere near the worst defense in football.

We need to split with the Saints and have them drop AT LEAST 2 more to have a shot at the division. They are looking good.

They have but with weak competition. The Redskins was our mistake game. Saints will have one as well.

Speaking if the Giants a 3 point home win vs Cleveland that's awe inspiring....and losing to the Buccaneers at home?

The Panthers have lost two road games by 1 score....  both of which we had the ball in the redone at the end.... (I blame *Riverboat*).

Losing games like that happens. We have lost two game and will probably end up 13-3 or 12-4 without winning our division. Let that sink in.
