never had a kid come up my driveway on halloween.   never in 15 years.   never even seen one on our road.   they do trunk or treat up here in the rural wnc mtns, or take 'em to weaverville or a'ville.

My oldest son 7yr is going as Luke Kuechly, got a childs panther uniform from Amazon ironed #52 hes set, and my youngest 5yr is going as a black cat

I live out in the country now but Halloween is when I miss living in a neighborhood. We would all get together and sit in the culdesac with coolers of beer and hand out candy to the kids with a fire pit going, music, etc.

When the kids got done trick or treating, the adults would then go door to door and you would be handed a random shot of liquor to take instead of candy. We never made it to more than 6 or 7 houses away but it was a tradition that I miss every year. 

Dude that sounds amazing. Wish I live in a close knit community like that
