Fire Rivera fanboys must be on vacation

Also after the game you see that it wasn't Rivera that called that play to Olsen it was Olsen screaming and our new young QB freaking out and just instinctively trusting him that got us in FG range. Ron was going for the Hail Mary.

I could be crazy but didn't Cam say it his post game conference, that they had that drawn up for this exact scenario and it was nice to see it come to fruition? I mean if it was drawn up.... doesn't it mean the coach has something to do with it?

Not exactly conjecture. Listen to Ron Rivera’s comments prior to Norv’s hire, saying he wants to see more “ground and pound” in the offense and the such, and it’s clear lots of our forced attempted runs have been on Ron.

However, since the Panthers were successful with Cam running the show, it seems Rivera’s letting his leash off a little more.

Cam has run the show since Shula took over. The offense was built around him to showcase his ability. Norv just did it better than either Chud or Shula and Newton is flourishing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Ron's best season (2015), I remember beating teams like red-headed step children early and then hanging on for dear life in the 2nd half.

I would have never imagined that someone would use our 16-0 season as an example of poor coaching..... we are off the wagon folks.

Nobody doubts that Ron likes a conservative approach.  But it's NOT clear "lots of our forced attempted runs have been on Ron.

lol at you for believing that ANY offensive coordinator wouldn't be executing the clear preference and philosophy of the HEAD FUGGING COACH.

I quoted the *exact* statement to which I was responding (i.e. I wasn't responding to his post, just THAT PARTICULAR STATEMENT).

Which has nothing to do with what you just said.  Please stop pretending the strawman that lives in your head is me.

Of course the OC is going to follow the philosophy of the head coach.  Where did I say he wouldn't/shouldn't?  The problem I have with some of you dummies is you want to nitpick certain plays and blame Ron when things go bad but REFUSE to give him credit when things go good.

And for the record I don't totally agree with some of the things Ron does but I'm not going to be an ass about it on a message board.  It's easy to second guess and play Monday Morning QB.

My goodness. I guess you meant that as some sort of apology, for previous Rivera criticism.  But taken as a whole, it's about the most narcissistic, "look at me, ma" stuff ever typed.

Hint for future posts: if you want to be taken seriously, don't use I/me/my 10 times in your writings.

nope, no apology.  i have no interest in being taken seriously.  this is a fan message board.  i'm here for entertainment purposes and to talk and read about my team with other people who love the panthers.  idk if you know this, but some people don't want to hear about the panthers all day.  that's what this place is for.  you don't seem very smart, or to have good reading comprehension, so i do apologize to you if i've  used any words you don't understand, or if the concept of this place eludes you.  there are no medals here.  if you're looking for respect here, or to make your mark, you've missed this places point.
