Maybe it's just me, but Bradberry still appears sketchy as hell

IMO Bradberry is an average to above-average starting CB.  He has had some good games, and he is a solid player, but I don't think he will ever be elite.

Playing CB in today's pass-friendly NFL is not easy or for the weak or heart.

Donte has the potential to be elite.  Wouldn't be surprised if over time he starts to get the call to match up on some WR1's depending on the individual matchup.

It’s not that Bradberry can’t cover, it’s the fact that teams have probably looked at tape and said here’s a guy who’s always in great position but doesn’t get his head around or make a play on the ball. Let’s isolate him and put him in some 1v1 50/50 jump ball situations ala Alshon Jeffery. If he fixes that I mean the guy is potential all pro

Problem is Bradberry is considered our number 1 corner.

Fair enough. But then again compared to other seasons our pass defense is not atrocious by any means. It's pretty average, so if it is lead by bradberry then he must be keeping guys in check for most part. I also don't think it will be long before Donte is considered our true #1, besides the inexperiemce he already balls out like he is.

If I’m a opposing NFL QB and I need  7-8 yards for a first down   I’m throwing it to whomever is being covered by #24.

He does a great job tackling after giving up the catch & he limits the yac, but gives up way too many keep the drive alive plays

For an example Look at the last 2 games it seems other teams aren’t throwing at Jackson.  It looks like they picking on #24 regularly. Hes average which isn’t a bad thing. But he’s not a #1 corner

exactly this. Gettleman tanked the 2016 draft

This. Bradberry's biggest weakness is his complete lack of ball skills. If I'm an opposing team, I'm trying to get Bradberry singled up on all my deep shots simply because it's safe. There's virtually no chance that Bradberry is going to intercept it.
