Maybe it's just me, but Bradberry still appears sketchy as hell

top dawg

My beef with Bradberry is he hasn’t added anything to his game to make up for the lack of ball skills. Like implement a peanut punch or something to create a turnover. He’s a solid corner but come contract time If the price isn’t right I say we move on and find another prospect to pair with Jackson

hahahahaha

funny

When you put on the replay he's even better than live. Playing 30 yards off the WR and not sending pressure will always have someone open. When we actually pressure or play closer up he's much better but he's never that bad. This place thinks if a WR catches a pass on our CB he sucks. You can have good coverage and still have a WR catch it on you....just blew the mind of the doofuses here.

despite the amount of interceptions and a couple of good weeks put together by Reid, over the course of most of this season our safety coverage has been atrocious.  It'd suit well to think about that when you're thinking 'hmm..what did Bradberry look like by himself on an island against Julio Jones/AJ Green/Odell Beckham with no help and no pass rush?  Cause the answer is he did as well as literally anyone ever could have.  Probably slightly better.  I get that Jackson has been great pretty quick but it doesn't occur that he gets to be great/make plays because Bradberry gets much less attention and takes the best WR?  There's a lot that goes into evaluating CB play and I can't understand what anyone has had against Bradberry.  Any of his problems have been much more a symptom of our defense as a whole.

Of course they’re from the beginning: gambles best year was 2004, then he vanished. The only time he was seen again was when he signed the seventy million dollar contract hurney gave him for some dumbass reason.

Do you like search the forums for mentions of gambles name? Are you related to him?

i've settled in to a belief that he's related to hurney in some way.

e: gamble was really good in 2011 and 2012 too

Hate on him if you want to but you are crazy. He is 25 years old and will be getting PAID. People need to stop comparing him to Josh Norman and start comparing him to CHRIS GAMBLE

Honestly he’s about as good as Chris gamble ever was.

Gamble's ball skills were  markedly better. And, other than maybe a couple of years---one here, and one in Washington---it's arguable that Gamble was the more steady and complete CB than Norman.

There is no way that Bradberry is as good as Gamble. Bradberry gives up big plays several times every single game, Gamble wasn't a ball hawk, but he typically kept things locked up.

Keeping thing locked up didn’t include covering the teams number 1 wr all across the field all game. We all know fox didn’t do this to a fault. Also do you think the rule changes over the last 5 years have made it easier or harder to cover wide receivers? Bradberry is only starting his third season in the league and is only 25 years old and still growing professionally. He is only going to get better and is already matched up with the BEST wr each team has every week.
