The Quiet Storm of CAMVP

So I don't normally post, but I've been on the boards for a while. I have always been a big fan of the Huddle, and enjoy my fellow huddle family.

I wanted to bring everyone's attention to a storm that is picking up win, and is growing rapidly.....CAMVP current status category 3. Cam has been scary this season and I don't think many have realized that we finally got our prayers answered. Norv has been a breath of fresh air when he's been allowed to coach. Cam is on pace to pass his best stats from multiple seasons. Look below

Cam is near 70% for the season in completion, and the more the season progresses I believe that to stay the course. He is also going to throw for more yards, and I see his game avg getting higher as offense gells more. Another thing is Cam could seriously get dangerously close to 800 yards rushing, and 10+ TDs. I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility for him to go for 4000 yards again either, or throw for 40 TDs.

I believe he is do for a couple of 4+ TDs games. With Moore and Samuel getting more play, and attention. That will open the field for Funchess and Olsen. Look we have a dangerous offense that's cooking right now. The meal is almost ready. So hopefully you guys see it, and enjoy the ride.

Keep POUNDING!!!!

Just as important as a good stat sheet is the W column and just as important as the W column is carrying the team to those Ws. Part of the reason Cam won it in 2015 is because of all the comeback heroics. Cam won MVP because every time the chips were down he came up aces.

He's doing that again this year. That Eagles game may well hav defined his season.

Mahomes has a gun on him, what he is doing this season is impressive to say the least. He on pace for 52 touchdowns, 5000 passing yards and only 12 ints. Cam is still hanging with Brady in the stats column and I'll take that all day long, Cam is our MVP idk where this team would be without him.

Appreciate the responses. I love Mahomes and think he is a Superstar in a great situation. However if Cam continues playing like this, and we know he will get better in Nov/Dec then he has a shot. Cam puts up 4000 yds 35+ TDs & 750+ yds 10+ TDs you got a tough choice between him and Mahomes

At least Cam has a Chud like OC who can give him what he needs for another MVP type season. After Shula's antics were figured out and complacency set in I didn't think we'd see MVP Cam again. He's got a shot now. He like Peppers is a unicorn. He is uniquely gifted.

Honestly feels like it's a three horse race between Mahomes, Brees, and Gurley, with Goff coming in behind them. If Cam can put up over 4k Passing and 800 Rushing, that would be an absolutely ridiculous season and he should firmly be in the MVP conversation, but realistically those 4 are ahead of him right now.

Also I don't want him to win the MVP because the MVP has lost the super bowl every time they've played in it since 2000. It's cursed at the moment. Give it to Mahomes so if we play them, the curse goes in our favor.

a lot can happen in the last half of the season.  wentz had it in the bag last year until he got hurt.  any reid teams are notoriously streaky and rarely play well an entire season.  ron and cam have shown consistently they trend higher toward the end of the season.

just a guess, but i'm sure he'd rather win SB MVP instead of a regular season award

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
