Preseason 2004 vs the Giants. then also the MNF we played the packers was my first regular season game, that stadium was so loud.

The Panthers' first regular game: September 3, 1995 in Clemson, vs Atlanta, lost 23-20 in overtime. Damn, I remember those bleachers; they were not comfortable. But we were so close to the field. It was fun parking in the grass & tailgating with our Subway sandwiches. It was definitely a party. Don't laugh at Subway: it was me and 3 children under 12, Subway was the way to go! Went to all the preseason games that year too.

I live in Kansas City, but I've been to all three games Carolina has played here. My first game was a preseason game in 1997 when I was 14 - got autographs from Sam Mills, Lamar Lathon (I was the only person he signed for; I was wearing his jersey), Greg Skrepenak, and Matt Finkes. Also snagged Rae Carruth's game-worn glove when he tossed it into the stands on his way back into the locker room... it's an interesting conversation piece.

That game was in Atlanta. The first regular season game in Clemson was vs. Rams.

I was lucky enough to ride down to Bank of America Stadium back in 2006 when the Panthers faced the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. I had to sit up in the nose bleeds as I watched the Panthers take an early lead. If I remember correctly, they let Kasay try a 60 yarder to end the half. Once halftime was over I snuck down to the lower level and did the 'ol flip out your cell phone, act like your talking act and found an empty couple of seats near the edge where Panther Man was. I met Brentson Buckner there and shook his hand (which was HUGE). Even though the Cowboys came back and beat us 34-14 or something like that, I'll never forget how awesome it was to be that close to the field.
