The first Panthers game you ever went to...?

What year was it and who was the opponent?

I first got to actually attend a Panthers game in December '98 in a rare home win that year against the Rams. Fun stuff, my family had very good seats.

The first time I actually made it into the stadium was for the Billy Graham crusade in '96 before the first Panther game there I believe.

My first game was Panthers (1-7) against San Fran (1-7) in 2004. We had a big 2nd half comeback and the team got momentum from it. Didn't get to see (injured) Smitty, but Jake was able to hit Moose pretty well that year. Defense had some big plays as well. I remember a fumble recovery called back, but then the same guy got an INT on the next play. I believe it was Mark Fields.

    • Dan Morgan’s first offseason is better than any of Fitterers by a mile. Really hope we invest in defense heavily in the draft. Run first teams can’t survive with a horrible defense.
    • It may seem like our rookies have fairly low yards. But If you combine the yards for Coker,  Legette, and J.Sanders, you get 800 which is more than Neighbors or BTJ.  Also Coker is the only UDFA on this list the fact that he's on any kind of top list as UDFA makes him arguably our best move this off season for the price we paid to get him. Slam Dunk off-season by Dan Morgan. Especially if Brooks shows us something this season. We've already seen Trevin Wallace doing some good things. Getting anything out of Smith Wade or Crumedy would be a bonus. Rarely do 5th to 7th Rounders work out. In a sort of strange way that Michigan LB we drafted in the 7th got us a serviceable backup CB in Mike Jackson. So there's that too. Imagine if Morgan has just as good as of an off-season before the 2025 season for the defensive side of the ball.
    • I love Cam, and want the org to celebrate him, but they've told him why things are how they are (he isn't retired) and he says he just isn't going to and expects them not to care... I get he's never playing again, but just sign the papers to retire and call their bluff...
