Do You Think We Will See a Productive Offense on Sunday? Or Will it Be More of the Same Inconsistency?

Curious now that Torrey is out for the game . I doubt J.Wright is going to be starting full time next to Funchess so I think Rivera and Norv are going to be forced to use Moore and Samuel way more than usual. I'm really hoping this is a good thing and might help to open up the offense a lot more earleir in the game.

Quite frankly I'm absolutely sick and disgusted literally watchig ANY other football game and seeing Watson, Mahomes, Brady, Wilson, hell even Eli and Matty Melt just chuck the pigskin 40 yards downfield multiple times a game and have big passing plays that lead to TDs. Our offense lacks EXPLOSION factor and I'm desperate to get that back since Ginn left. Its like some invisible weight is dragging the panthers offense down and every drive down the field has to be methodical and time consuming, either that or quick 3 and outs becoming the norm.

Ive also noticed from recent weeks that Norv has given up on the run game way too easily/quickly. CMC will have 2 or 3 decent or good runs and for some damn reason we will just keep passing for the rest of the 1st half for the most part like we are down 28 points or something. The one game CMC had a respectable amount of carries he dominated on the ground to the tune of 184 rushing yards .

Even given how disappointing the defense has been overall this season I'm just livid with the offense sleepwalking through the first half of every game. I know the Ravens are a tough defense but I really want to see the Panther offense somehow spark to life on Sunday.

We do NOT have an incredible or consistent defense anymore. Why are we playing so conservatively then? What exactly are we leaning on? I wish we could all write a letter to Rivera and Norv with 1 million signatures asking them to take the fuging chains off Cam and the offense and send Samuel and DJ streaking down the field to let us find some kind of spark.

I may be a Homer/optimist but I think the defense has been playing well the last two weeks. Historically they get better in Nov. Eric Reid was a huge get. Shutdown Jackson is just a rookie. Yeah, Pep is 38 but still breaking records and doing Pep things on the field, unicorn. Obada coming along. I feel they need a certain free agent DE to continue to beast into the future. Ron said this is his best roster. I think I agree. New OC and all.

I do agree about Norv abandoning the run during the game. Not using #20, maybe trying to keep him healthy or something. We should be pounding the rock because we can.

Get the ball to our playmakers early and often! I wanna see Moore cmc and Samuel get the ball 90% of the time. Funchess is ok but no yards after catch. We need explosive guys.

I don't think this is the game we put up 35+ but I can see 24-31ish and a solid all around effort from Moore, Samuel, McC and Olsen and obviously Cam. Ravens defense is tough but their stats are inflated by playing some horrible horrible offenses... I'm kinda thinking McC will have a huge game, getting 150-200 yards from scrimmage, with 100+ of it being rushing. Ravens and Bengals have similar D's with weaker LBs and we can exploit that like we did against CIN, but probably not quite to the tune of 180+ rushing...

When we see forgiveness first hand it gives us hope that we may continue to be forgiven.

GH owes this community a huge debt, it wasn't his choice. Forgive the guy. Let the healing begin. He was a Washington guy. All that $. 1-2 games. Let him repay you, give the guy a chance, much too much FOOTBALL talent just wasting time. Add that guy to this roster now. Defense complete. Historic.

I too see the Ravens similar to the Bengals. Every D has holes, even the Ravens, and Norv with Cam will find them. I also think we'll be running more. The o-line needs to be stout and they'll need help. Against these types of defense what is needed is near perfect execution because the holes don't stay open for long. Wright and Samuel IMO will get more looks too. Sure hands is what's needed.

Is this Nails’ back up account?

This offense needs a few short fields if we're gonna put up scores in the 30s.  Defensive line needs to step up the pressure ( before the 4th quarter) and generate some turnovers.

I'd really like to see DJ get a TD this game.  And I think cam is due for another rushing TD soon.

    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
    • The bottom lines to me are that a) we played well enough to beat the best team in the league and b) Bryce Young is growing into a bridge QB role (his ceiling) for us. As much as I don't want BY around after the season, it seems DC can still build the O with a game manager at QB for now. Best case scanario, we can build the D through the draft this year and take a QB we have conviction outside the 1st this or next draft. If BY keeps improving, we are going to win a couple more games this year.
    • Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield  Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game.  The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad
