I think we’re just spoiled by TD and Luke’s otherworldly coverage ability for LBs. Shaq got burned a ton last year because he was put in an impossible spot, trying to cover top slot wide receivers... he’s been solid against TEs and some RBs

We kicked off the wildcat craze by playing DeAngelo Williams in a single wing offense instead of letting Weinke play QB.

McClain/Fua rookie 3rd rounders starting from day one at DT.

Bradberry/Worley rookie 2nd/3rd rounders starting from day one at CB.

Going to the playoffs last year with Devin Funchess and a bunch of practice squad players at WR.

We also have tried to convert about 3 3-4 LB's to DEs. And let's not forget Shaq as a CB! That was fun.

If Shaq plays any safety(highly unlikely), it will be as the box safety supporting the run. This is not poor roster management or anything else. It's actually phenomenal roster management in that the team has guys who are athletic and versatile enough to do stuff like this in a pinch.
