when the weather gets cold and bad....CJ will get his touches.

again, we have a new OC.  He is still in the figuring out phase.  He has a lot of unique talent.  No one should expect this O to really flow until the second half of the season as well.

CAP before CJ.

CJ has proven way more than CAP has and we'll need his experience if something happens to CMC.

I'm not sure who all might be looking for a RB right now, but Philly, NYJ, and maybe BUF come to mind. CAP would only be worth a conditional 5-7th rounder.

Also, I like how I can refer to all our RBs with 3 letters or less.

Nobody is trading a 5th for CAP lol

Wouldnt even go for a 7th.

FWIW Philly has the draft ammo to trade for a depth/starting experience RB. I'd call them up and see if they wanted CAP. They have two second rounders already, and potentially an extra 5th and two extra 6ths once comp picks come into play.

I'd take a 5th or a 6th for a contract year player. Then CAP gets a legit chance to earn his next contract, and Philly gets a chance at a legit starting RB from out of nowhere.

CAP has zero trade value. I'm honestly not even sure if his phone would be ringing if we released him.

CJ isn't getting any PT with us right now, but he's good insurance if anything happened to CMC. The only way I'd want to give up that insurance is for a trade for an impact pass rusher but I very seriously doubt anyone would make that trade.

It’s a miracle CAP has lasted this long on the team considering he offers 0 value on special teams or as a receiver.

The fact that he is still on this team means he absolutely has value.

No.

Dude nobody is trading anything for CAP.  He’s a #3 late round back who has accomplished nothing.  I don’t think you realize how greedy teams are with picks.
