How's Eric Reid Doing so far as a Panther?

I'm not taking sides as I said I'll let them settle that.  I do know when it comes to the money, the owners weren't giving that just because they felt like it.  They weren't making any concessions because they feel its the right thing to do.  These guys are viscous in terms of money.  If they are giving money, its because they intend on something being done.  In this case, they intended to stop the anthem protest.  The evidence is Malcolm Jenkins ending his protest right after the deal.  Amid the disputes, I take the actions into great consideration.

maybe Jenkins was literally at the same place Eric Reid was at one point.....ready to move on from the kneeling and evolve.  Reid was there too at thinking they need to evolve past the kneeling.

I still say there is more to the other side and we are just taking Eric Reid's version as the one with the most weight because he is the only one wanting to have that fight in the public eye at the moment.   Like I said, Eric Reid's emotional state last weekend just makes me believe his side was not the best version of his truth he could give.

Maybe it is time to move on from kneeling and focus on playing games since that is more important while on the field.

Theres still a lot of unknown to him. Even though he was a proven player for the 49ers. Its just strange no one else got him. I just don't believe its 100 percent because he was connected to Kap.

It was crucial for us to sign him. We really need it and I think he fits the defense pretty good, I can see him still trying to feel out his space back there in safety and not communicate 100 percent always, maybe thats an ego thing. Sometimes its a positive thing, a guy who knows he's all pro starting safety trying to prove him self to a known savage defense. In his prime with San Fran during games vs Carolina was when our defense was top 5.

I like him with Mike Adams back there. Mikes game has seemed to step up too knowing there is a similar style of player near him. Colin has been totally poo on and yeah he's not elite.. but he is fast and is usually always involved when the football is on the ground. So 2 starting Safties and a serviceable backup who contributes to special teams is pretty solid.

I think his best game yet was vs the Eagles. He was fuging fired up and that might be the type of player he is in those situations he goes beast mode, has a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully he focuses all that playing balls out on the field like he did last week.

Even though I wish we could snag Patrick Peterson from Arizona... add a hybrid weapon. We have been super lucky Bradberry and Jackson have been healthy.. big drop off after that.

Reid has been getting better each week and is a huge upgrade for us at the safety position. I have not heard him talk about the team or how the game went much at all in post game interviews. I wonder how good of a teammate he has been in the locker room? The guy seems mad 24/7 which is a very good thing for us on the field. He could be with us for a long time if he keeps improving each week, and it can pay off big as the year goes on. Can you imagine us still playing Colin Jones at safety right now?

For “some” people - if Reid doesn’t have 10 tackles, 2 picks, and a sack each week - it is because Reid sucks and he is too busy being a militant thug and not sticking to sports.

It’s called moving the goalposts. It’s something that the right wing whackos are really good at - the other being, of course, terrorizing our great country with violence as we unfortunately saw everyday this past weekend.

I'm still curious as to his relationship with Torrey Smith and if there is some riff there.  He was clearly pissed at Jenkins, but didn't hold back and said something at Torrey as well when they brought him back to the sidelines.  Thankfully one is offense and the other is defense but still wouldn't want that to potentially divide a locker room.
