His style of play reminds me of TD. That guy is coming to knock you out. Once he sees what's going on he's there fast. He looks like he is diagnosing plays quickly.

If they can get him under contract for next season and going forward the football decision would really pay off after him understanding the system completely and just play on instinct.

I was gonna say, his style reminds me of 2013 Mike Mitchell.  I still wanna see him tone down the stuff like the late hit, but if he brings intensity like he had last game, guys gonna be very good.

Same people on here who are trying to hide the fact they want Eric Reid to fail as a panther and probably want him in jail - are the same people who probably tried to buy a Rae Carruth Jersey on NFL.com because they thought it would be funny to walk around in one. People like EZUPantherFan, Bull123, the usual suspects.

Rust-wise I meant. He's been late to diagnose his responsibilities and a little late to the ball but he looked better against the Eagles. He's still getting into the groove of the defense so it was expected to take some time to get up to speed.

I'm sure there's some rust because he haven't played an actual game in a minute,  but it's also limited time in the playbook. He'll continue to get better and he has brought an attitude that our secondary needs...

So shoving 1 teammate is somehow better than shoving multiple teammates? I understand disagreeing, we see that on the sideline multiple times every game. But with this locker room under Rivera it has not escalated to shoves at any point (yes we've had training camp scuffles but not once we're actually playing other teams during the season), and it should stay that way. I don't think it's a huge deal by any means and I did not exaggerate anything, I just think it'd be better if that didn't happen. Especially when it seems that he got heated about something having nothing to do with football during our football game. That's retarded.

They were probably trying to calm him down It didn’t look like it was between the two players on the sideline it was because they were trying to calm him down to me at least

I hope with all my soul he makes a pick 6 against ATL when they come to the BOA just to lick up all those delicious Falcon tears.

Yeah their fans wanted him pretty bad. That would be quite delicious wouldn't it?

Uh oh, this is gonna cause some mass confusion amongst a portion of the Carolina fan-base:

Josh Norman: Eric Reid’s comments “a slap in the face”

Quote

Norman took up for Malcolm Jenkins on Thursday, four days after Jenkins and Reid had a pregame shouting match that spilled over in Reid’s postgame comments ripping the Players Coalition.

“To hear Eric come out and do what he did, it’s almost like, wow, that was a slap in the facebecause Malcolm has been nothing but stand up in the Players Coalition,” Norman said Thursday, via JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington. “Nothing but stand up, and everyone knows that.”

Reid called Jenkins a “sellout,” suggesting the Players Coalition’s acceptance of money from owners undercut the intent of Colin Kaepernick’s protests of police brutality and racial inequality. While making clear he supports Reid and Kaepernick fighting oppression in their own way, Norman doesn’t understand Reid lashing out at the Players Coalition, which Norman said is doing “real work” and “making true changes.”

“We’re all trying to go in the direction of helping people,” Norman said. “That is the main objective here. It’s not who gets this award; it’s not a parade here.”
